The Duke City will be abuzz on Saturday night as our champion squares off against her opponent, Miesha Tate as part of UFC 196’s co-main event from Sin City. We’ll definitely be rooting The Preacher’s Daughter on and keeping an eye on ABQ’s social media activity for the city’s response to the fight.

Conductor Roger Melone and the New Mexico Symphonic Chorus and Orchestra perform Mozart’s iconic Requiem Mass on Sunday, March 6 at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Experience the legendary composer’s final work, featuring the voices of Marilyn Thomas Bernard, Jacqueline Zander-Wall, Eric Parker, and Stephen Lewis. In addition to this enigmatic masterwork, this concert’s program also includes two Handel coronation anthems. Tickets start at $15 and are available online.
