The rides, entertainment and everything deep fried may be coming to an end at the New Mexico State Fair this weekend, but there are still some concerts and events that will keep your feet moving and get you singing:

New Mexico is going global this weekend at ¡Globalquerque! starting today through Saturday. This annual celebration of world music and culture has a diverse lineup of artists from around the globe including four-time Grammy nominee Plena Libre from Puerto Rico and classic soul singer Bettye LaVette from the U.S.A.

The Roost Creative Music Series comes to a close on Sunday with a live performance by Rich Halley 4. Having just released their newest CD Back from Beyond, this quartet will be sure to bring the jazz.

This weekend brings an array of music during the final days at the New Mexico State Fair. Head bang with the godfather of Rock n’ Roll Eddie Money tonight at 7, get your cowboy boots on and see country music artist Jerrod Niemann tomorrow and moon walk your way to catch the Michael Jackson Laser Spectacular on Sunday.

What are you doing this weekend?

Isn’t it Fridays give you a sense of relief sometimes, when it’s day-off time on Saturdays and Sundays. Love to be it’s Friday already.
