With sunshine and temperatures in the high 90s this weekend, Albuquerque’s summertime activities are in full swing. Here are a few things we’ll be checking out this weekend.

Enjoy Hummingbird Views at the Archetype Dermigraphic Studio/Gallery tonight from 5–8 p.m. Christian Gallegos, mixed media artist will have a solo show reception. Show runs through August 31.

Enjoy the 2012 New Mexico Jazz Festival‘s presentation of the Justin Ray Project tonight starting at 8 p.m. at Outpost Performance Space. Ray returns to his hometown with his new project of original compositions for jazz quartet, string quartet and a combination thereof. Tickets: $20/$15 Members & Students.

Join Albuquerque in the heart of historic Nob Hill for a celebration of music, food and fun on the Mother Road at the Route 66 Summerfest tomorrow from 2–10:30 p.m. in Nob Hill. This day-long event will feature three music stages, with entertainment from the New Mexico Jazz Festival. In addition there will be a classic car show, food court, children’s entertainment, and an art and artisan market. Best of all, its free. In addition there will be Cork and Tap, a beer and wine garden featuring craft beers and wines from all over New Mexico.

Stock up on all your favorite goodies at the Corrales Growers’ Market on Sunday from 9 a.m.– noon. The Corrales Growers’ Market presents the music of Up the Holler and is located at 500 Jones Road in Corrales.
