Is everybody ready for today’s debate?

We know what you’re going to say: “But there was just one yesterday.” And, “There was just one the day before that.”

We’re not talking about those debates. Although, yes, there are a ton of presidential debates. We’re talking about the debate you’re going to have about what to do this weekend in ABQ. There’s just so much to choose from. Check it out.

Run for Itrunners to race to the finish line of the marathon

It’s not easy to get up and go for a run. Maybe the Native Health Initiative’s Running Medicine  is just what you need to finally reach your goal of running a 5K.

Tomorrow, at 9 a.m., the Spring 2016 Training Program will begin at U.S.S. Bullhead Park (meet at the soccer fields). The program, which includes eight weeks of fitness training, will lead up to joining Run for the Zoo and the Mother’s Day 5K.

The program will meet  Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The entire season costs $15 per person and all ages are welcome.

Pot Of GoldAn Early St. Paddy’s Party

Who says you have to wait until March 17 to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

It sure wasn’t the folks at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. Tomorrow, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the museum will host ShamRock Fest 2016.

There will be two stages—Main Stage and Dance Stage—providing live music. The Irish American Society will present arts and crafts in the Kids Zone. There will be an animal area, food trucks, libations, and more.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

What are your weekend plans?
